Rosemary Ogolla
Board Chair
Rosemary Ogolla is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Safari Autism Foundation, bringing more than 35 years of experience advocating for individuals with autism and supporting families in Kenya and the United States. As a mother of an adult son with autism, Rosemary brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. Her advocacy focuses on increasing awareness, strengthening families, expanding access to support, and building more inclusive communities for individuals with autism.
Nick Mudgett
Treasurer
Nick is the CEO of a Pennsylvania-based human services organization supporting adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. He is passionate about building programs that give people real independence and dignity, and about mentoring the leaders who make that work possible. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and two young children.
Patrick Conroy
Board Member
Patrick has spent nearly 40 years in human services, including work in residential treatment, dementia care program management, and adult autism services. He later founded Second Vision Services, becoming Pennsylvania's first independently certified abuse investigator. A twice-honorably-discharged Navy/Marine Corps Corpsman, Pat is now retired and enjoys time with his wifeÂ
Eric Chestnut
Board Member
Eric Chestnut has been working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder for over a decade. He believes that all people have the right to live an everyday life, but that the population we serve needs more help than most to achieve it. Advocacy knows no borders, and he is proud to help the Safari Autism Foundation advance the rights of individuals with IDD and ASD in Kenya
Angela Weidman, BS
Board Member
Angela Weidman, BSÂ brings more than 20 years of experience in social services, with a focus on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. Her experience includes direct client support, service coordination, program oversight, and regulatory compliance. As a Board Member, Angela brings a passion for helping individuals reach their full potential and ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
Jim Bryan
Board Member
Jim Bryan brings more than 25 years of experience in residential healthcare, behavioral health, and senior living. Beginning as a direct care worker and advancing to Executive Director of a 200+ bed facility, Jim has extensive expertise in leadership, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operations. He is the founder of TPHP Consulting and a university instructor and speaker, with a passion for developing strong, compassionate leaders in residential care.
